Vocalfest 2012!

Region 15 has booked the site for the Vocalfest 2012, from Sept. 14 to 16, 2012 with Sweet Adelines International Faculty Laura Pallas, Master Director of the Santa Monica Chorus. Once again, we'll be "Together Again," at the Sheraton, 199 Smith Rd., in Parsippany, N.J.

Laura Pallas is an accomplished musician, performer, and regional and international competitor in the Sweet Adelines International arena. She holds an M.F.A. in Vocal Pedagogy, is a member of the Sweet Adelines regional and International Faculty, and has been awarded the title of "Master Director" in 2009. This past Region 11 contest the Santa Monica chorus took 1st place overall and for the first time Laura was named Director of the Year.

In addition to directing the Santa Monica, Laura also directs the award-winning men's Valleyaires Chorus. She coaches quartets and choruses around the country specializing in vocal production and technique. Laura also sang lead in the internationally competitive quartet, Naturally, Region 11 Quartet Champions many times over.
